Summary
Raspberry Pi only supports a limited set of ethernet dongles. See the list. You must use Raspberry Pi OS and not Ubuntu/Debian.
The two that you can get on Amazon are:
- TP-Link UE300 - USB 3.0. Dongle is really short and hard to position, but it works.
- TRENDNet TU2-ET100 - USB 2.0. Has a long ship time.
